Cui Shian, SASAC Chairmen of the Supervisory Board met with Poly Group Top Management .
On Oct. 10, 2009, Cui Shian, SASAC newly-appointed Chairmen of the Supervisory Board came to Poly Group and met with Poly Group leaders. Chairman He Ping and President Chen Hongsheng welcomed Chairman Cui and his Supervisory Board members to give guideline for Poly Group, and respectively reported the basic condition of Group to the visiting Supervisory Board. Chairman Cui pointed out that, over these years of development, Poly Group witnessed a significant strengthening on its internal cohesive force, executive fore, market development ability and innovation ability; and obvious development has been obtained. He had several feeling as below: firstly, he realized the special characteristics of Poly Group business function. SOEs must firstly reflect state wills and social responsibility. Over two decades since engaged in trade of military goods, Poly Group made outstanding contribution to the China’s modernization of national defense construction; Poly Group vigorously developed the cultural industry, making significant contribution to enhancing national soft power and flourishing cultural market; Poly Real Estate Group Corporation, as a leading estate enterprise, was particularly outstanding. Secondly, he realized the consistency of function of supervision for Board of Supervisors. The institution of the external board of supervisors of SASAC was a successful practice on state-owned assets, representing rights and interests of investors, making an independently supervision according to law, helping and promoting enterprises for implementation of internal management. Attention should be paid to consistency during supervision, insuring just and fair results. Thirdly, coordination on future work should be further strengthened. SASAC required Board of Supervisors to make a supervision of current period over enterprises, create conditions for enterprise development as much as possible. He hopes that Poly Group would continue to support and cooperate with Board of Supervisors as before. Fourthly, he hoped to pay attention to the volatility of situation together with enterprises. Many uncertainties existed in domestic and international economic situations. We shall jointly pay attention to development of situation, and continue to avoid risks.
