The Group Convened Production Safety Conference

The group convened a production safety conference on September 25, 2007. Sixteen executives attended the meeting including vice general manager Guo Qiang and managers from functional departments and who are responsible for production safety for Beijing-based companies. The attendants were briefed of the production safety review during the meeting. During the review which focused on fire control a thorough inspection was conducted of the fire-fighting equipment, escape channels, electrical equipment and cables, safety plan and fire fighting rehearsal. Therefore, it was agreed, potential risks were eliminated and safety awareness increased as expected.
